Top 5 Best Selling Japanese Products of January 2010

Top 5 best selling products at FlutterScape this January seems completely different from X'mas shopping rush last year (http://blog.flutterscape.com/top-5-best-selling-japanese-products-of-decem).

Here they are!!

1. A10 Cyclone Robotic Masturbator

Danny Choo called it "Dolphin Washing Machine" heehee

I was in a bit of quagmire whether I should be honest with our ranking or not because this product is too...(you know lol) but FlutterScape respects transparency and I bit the bullet - this is not a personal pick but is purely customer demand based.. but of course, I am not as transparent as I say out loud customers' name hahaha

As the product has been discussed, Japan is the country of convenience, where even basic human sexual desire can be now fulfilled with a mere combination of a couple of motors, plastic cup, lotion, remote controller, and batteries lol

A10 Cyclone best functions with the remote controller called R1 Starter Kit (as below)

2. Gloomy Naughty Grizzly Bear Mug

Ouch, the bear kneeing the guy's head!!

God damn, this differs a lot from the friendship between these two...lol

3. Citric Acid 20 Stick Box

I bought one box for myself to remove my fatigue.. but it is so sour!!

Heehee as you can see....(from Fuuma No Kojiro)
Excuse me for sharing some silliness...like Jackass ^^;

Our new customer, Cuzenu, was kind enough to tell us where she found this item. What was amazing was that Cuzenu watched extra bonus clips of Fuuma No Kojiro (I am assuming this comes with their DVD sets) and picked that they were eating some kind of citric acid. She then went ask Koichi-san (the owner of tofugu.com) where she could purchase citric acid and then Koichi-san kindly introduced Cuzenu to us.

Taking this as a product request, FlutterScape staff found this product that would meet her requirement (to flavor the water and remove fatigue), hoping that she would like it.

Just like she did, our customers can also request our sellers to find something they are looking for. It does not have to be a fully-fledged request; if you do not have some specific product in your mind, you can just casually ask our seller community. Our community are passionate about finding and recommending the best possible suitable products for you. Opps, I swayed from the main topic heehee

4. Headphone Girls Art Collection Visual Book

Must-have visual book if you are into kawaii girls and audio-technica headphones ^^

Audio-technica was taking a smart move here to collaborate with Akihabara themed girls to promote their headphones since wearing well functional yet very stylish big headphones are becoming a trend here in Japan ( I think the trend was set by Teruma Aoyama with her album "Diary" - below)

Just like Citric Acid product, this was also picked up by customer's request and went on fire!

5. Porter Tanker Wallet

PORTER is really popular among young guys in Japan and seems like it is getting popular also in USA?
Porter (also known as Yoshida Kaban) reminds me of 一澤帆布 (Ichizawa Hanpu, a bag manufacturer that has (had) been around ever since Meiji Period).

Their bags are well functional, durable yet nicely designed, that we can only buy at their store in Kyoto.

Despite its huge popularity among young fashion opinion leaders, it was a little bit pity that they had to shut down their business temporarily because after the Nobuo Ichizawa (the chairman of the company) died, the bereaved Ichizawa family foguht against the remainning bequest with two different testaments left behind that stated two different things.

Anyway, we do have a huge demand for Porter bags especially from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, on top of the United States. Even Taiwan had a brand called Porter International, with a complete same looking logo but learned that it is actually a fake company!! oh!!!

Thank you for checking my post!!
