Site Update
Hello again! As promised, we will be sharing with you the details of our recent update, so here you go.
We've been having a lot of meetings and brainstorming figuring out how to offer you a much more secure and easy online shopping experience. We hope that through these updates, you continue to support FlutterScape and we promise to keep improving everyday.
New Shipping Option (Air Mail)
We added a much more cheaper Air Mail for international shipping option. In every item page, buyers can now choose right on the fly which shipping method they want for their purchase, either via Air Mail or EMS. We tweaked the UI so that buyers can easily compare the prices, and compare how both shipping will be handled.
Upload Item Flow

There had been a lot of debates on how we can make the Upload Item process much more intuitive for the users. In our previous flow, users can upload multiple items at a time, and though this flow was good, and offered a faster way to create many items, it was a little bit complicated for most users. We needed to come up with something equally good, but easy. Our solution was to go back to basic. We stripped down complications and focused on what users need and expect most of the time. And so, we ended up throwing away the benefits of multiple uploads (or being too advanced), but we hope that we achieved something that would make the users feel less dumb :) Of course, we can't say that we are always right, and we are also thinking of possibly doing integration of both flows in the future, but for now, we encourage you to keep giving us feedbacks to make this section better for you.
User Interface Facelift
Hitherto, our development flow has been very dependent on analytics or what the data say about our user's behavior. As much as we can, we are always peeping through to what users usually click, and what are invisible to them. One of the most obviously changed is the category menu. We believe that while improving the bounce rate throughout the site, these changes would help users navigate the site more comfortably and easily.
Item Tags
Tags would be an additional navigation helper to easily identify related topics and categories of each item.
Related Items Block
Well, basically we just wanted you to keep on clicking as much as possible (haha). Related Items block suggests items you might like based from the same category of the current item page. In the future, we will need to improve this part to give you much more relevant results. Stay tuned for more updates on this.
User Feedbacks Page
Hmmm, generally, one of the main purpose or "theme" if you will, for this current iteration is to improve user's trust. We think that this is a common scenario for a start up company dealing with online shopping. And we think one of the best ways to do that is to share experiences of other users who are happy with the services of FlutterScape.com. We hope that you can also give us your own experience and thoughts and we will be very excited to post it on our new User Feedbacks page. Banners and Badges Page
Intended for bloggers and promotional purposes. You can easily copy codes of links and buttons with FlutterScape's logo available in different size dimensions and formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF). Home/Start Page Tweaks
Some people might be annoyed by the regular changes of the start page design. We are still on the learning process, figuring out what's useful and what's best for our visitors. This update, we included latest comments, sample user feedbacks, and tweaked the way we show featured items, and also recent and most popular items. You will also notice that the info panel for sellers and buyers at the top of the page has been tweaked. Hope you will all welcome these changes :)
