Shipping Guidelines

FlutterScape has facilitated the international shipping process for you so you only need to ship your items domestically. However, it is still important to keep in mind that your item will be sent to your buyer as it is packaged by you. Please read the shipping tutorial carefully and make your buyer happy with your items in a good condition.

Prepare boxes

Let's try to keep as many boxes you have come across as possible, because you might need different sizes for some transactions. You can also get small to large boxes for free at your local supermarkets. They will give away any used boxes if you casually ask before they throw them away. For those who do not find supermarkets around, purchasing boxes or appropriate containers at post office is also an option. Refer to the link below and purchase your desired box at your local Post office.

Collect packaging materials

In order to protect your item from series of knocks and shakes, you need to cover your item with the following materials
  • Used Newspaper or Foam Peanuts
  • Bubble Wraps
  • Packing Tape

Please be careful using the newspaper as ink runs, so probably this might not be a good idea to use this on items that can get stained, clothes for example, or wrap the items in a plastic bag first.

Wrap your item

Before boxing, please always remember to wrap your items with plastic because it might get wet during delivery.

After wrapping your item with plastic, wrap it with enough bubble wraps to protect it from knocks or drops. Many of users have done well up to here but in addition to bubble wraps, please make sure that your box is filled with well-screwed newspaper or form beans to protect your item from shakes.

Finally, tape your box and you are done.

Ship to our logistic partner

Now you are ready to go down to the post office or use any other carriers available to you, write in the shipping label and ship it to our logistic partner. For frequent users, we may suggest to ask for your carrier to give you bunch of shipping labels so you can print out info (we are providing the printing-out function soon.) We also send Order ID to your email address of mobile phone if you have saved it on your account so that you can go down to the post office or other carrier offices on the go, without a need to take a memo of Order ID.

  • Please note that order ID is unique per product. If the same buyer buys multiple items from you and you are willing to ship them all in one box, please write EACH ORDER ID.
  • If Order ID is missing, our logistic partner may not be able to ship it and return it to you at your expense.
  • Depending on your location, the domestic shipping fee varies from approximately 400 yen to 1500 yen. Please consider covering this cost when you priced the item.
  • On average, the weight for box and packaging materials varies from approximately 150g to 500g (0.3 pound to 1.1 pound). Please consider the packaging weight in your item weight estimation.
  • If your estimated weight exceeds the actual weight (calculated by our logistic partner), the difference in international shipping fee between your estimation and the actual weight will be deducted from your payment.

Quick Q&A

Q. What if the same buyer buys multiple items from me?

A. If you are up for it, you can do combine shipping, meaning putting all the items into a box and shipping them. However, please always remember to write in each Order ID on the label.

Q. What if several different buyers buy items from me all at once? Can I ship all items in the same box and you would do the splitting later?

A. Unfortunately no. Please ship each item in a different box, making sure to write in Order ID on the label.
