Have you ever wished your cucumbers were just a bit more exciting? These plastic cucumber molds aim to liven up your next salad by shaping the long, green veggie as stars and hearts.

But don’t get hungry yet. The molding process takes some time. That’s because in order to become shaped like a star the cucumber must grow into the mold while on the vine.
The big question is how does it taste? To answer that you’ll have to try it out to find out. See more about the cucumber molds on FlutterScape.

Many FlutterScape users in Japan have no problem picking great products to sell on FlutterScape. It’s as if they have a sixth sense of what is in demand or what will be popular. Unfortunately, other users struggle a bit to tap into what will be a hit. For those users this tip is for you.
Sell things that are newsworthy.
This may just seem like the problem rephrased instead of advice. How exactly do you know what is newsworthy? Well, simply look at the news.
There are news sites and fan sites for nearly every kind of product. There are sites dedicated to covering the release of every new kind of camera or sites focused on indie sneakers. You can find denim fan sites and communities surrounding erasers shaped like food. Seriously, there is a site for just about everything.
When something new is announced in both big markets and niche markets you can be sure the expert or super fan of that product will hear about it first. If they cover the product on their site then it likely warrants the attention and is probably worth your consideration.
Take for instance Hypebeast.com which was one of the first sites to write about the release of a new backpack in Japan by the brand BRIEFING:

So dig deep in a niche market you’re interested in and find some sites covering the latest products. When something new is announced from Japan post it on FlutterScape. Soon enough you’ll have these super fans and their readership coming to your FlutterScape page thanking you for selling their latest must-have item.
By mid January Japan is well into a chilly winter. That means that many Japanese will stash themselves under kotatsu in order to keep themselves warm. Not everyone in Japan uses a kotatsu these days but certainly everyone is familiar with the unit. The kotatsu is deep rooted in Japanese culture, dating back hundreds of years.
So what is a kotatsu?
Originally the kotatsu was a coal pit located in the home that the Japanese gathered around to keep warm in the winter. The small hole containing hot coals was covered by a grate and then by a blanket. This allowed people to lay under the blanket and enjoy the heat that was trapped under the cover.
The modern kotatsu has changed dramatically but the purpose is the same. Instead of a pit in the ground an electric heating unit it attached to the bottom of a special square table. The table allows a blanket to extend on all sides so, like the ancient kotatsu, heat is trapped inside. It is now common for people to relax with their legs under the table while eating and watching TV.
There are a few fun variations and styles of kotatsu. Take for instance the kotatsu with character themed blankets. Or the ultra portable kotatsu for use by a single person in a chair.

Many of the stores in Akihabara span multiple floors. Often, each floor is dedicated to a single genre of goods. Akihabara Gamers, located just a minute from Akihabara station, is no exception.
The fourth floor of Akihabara Gamers is lined wall to wall with girls goods. This includes things like blankets, fans, umbrellas, plushies, stationary, and keychains with characters from popular female centric anime.
K-on fans will find no shortage of Akiyama Mio and Azusa Nakano items all around the store. Some may even come as a surprise. Take for instance the K-on snack food located in the anime food section!
